Commission: Maternal Vacation Gone Wrong (Act I)
Upon stepping foot inside the elusive Lonesome Gorge Hotel, Frieda, along with her five other friends in this clique that they’ve formed from a pregnancy pact that they’ve agreed upon and Uncle Remus, the caretaker of this hotel, have finally seen what made the place so special: apart from the lit electric lights and a central thermostat that keeps the whole place warm despite the frigid conditions, everything inside, be it a decoration or a furnishing made in the 19th or 20th century, felt warm and cozy, the spacious wooden interior being liberating against the vast yet inhospitable outdoors as they haul their luggage inside to prepare for a vacation up in the Rocky Mountains for a few weeks, not realizing that the weather forecast for the area is going to arrive sooner than expected. Frieda can’t help but to feel right at home in this unfamiliar place with her mind remembering of memories of her childhood in her birthplace in Tijuana. With Uncle Remus as the guide for the six

Otherworldly Part 2
“Shut. Up.” Sarah moaned as her phone’s alarm went off, for the third time that morning. She slapped her hand against it, trying to hit the “snooze” button on the screen before remembering that after three snoozes it would keep blaring until she hit “dismiss”. With a frustrated growl, she pulled her head out from under her pillow, groggily peering through a tangled fall of hair. “For the infinitely large numbered time, it’s a seminar on quantum mechanics and theoretical mass generation” Audrey said, scanning the auditorium. The lecture hall was unusually full for a non-mandatory event. A number of students would later admit they had been lured from their dorms with the promise of extra credit and free pastry.
“Right. Don’t know how I keep managing to forget that.” Dana’s eyes could almost be heard scraping in her sockets. Glancing at the crowd she dug an elbow into her friend

This is an epxeriment that took way longer than anticipated. This story can be read from two sides, the female perspective (as in here) and the male perspective in "His Amnesia".
I wrote those two in parallel, switching perspectives to try to make it balanced. Read both for the experience of your choice.
Another "restriction" I put on myself while writing this story was trying to make due with out numbers or conventional measurements, like "three babies" or "nine months" . Let me know if you think it paid of - or if you missed them!
I'm also curious which of these two will get more views/favorites/comments.

I quite enjoyed this, I like how you left the scale mostly up to the imagination. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the same, or maybe a follow up to this one.
